Optometric Assistant

Debbie is pleased to serve our patients as a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant. She specializes in patient intake and triage as well as operating the advanced diagnostic instruments that collect data to help the doctors perform a thorough eye health assessment. Debbie is also knowledgeable and experienced in the selection and fitting of contact lenses. She enjoys helping patients find the type of lenses and wearing schedule to suit their needs and budget.

Debbie grew up in Port Coquitlam moving to Merritt with her husband Jim in 1986 to raise their family. She is please to have recently returned to Merritt after spending a few years in Port Hardy exploring all the north island has to offer.

Traveling and photography are also some of her favorites past times.
