In Our Community

Merritt Optometry Clinic is proud to be involved with charities, sports associations, and arts councils both locally and globally. Commitment to the community is at the heart of Doctors EyeCare and the entire team is dedicated to contributing to the community (both near and far) that we work and play in.

  • Each year, Brian Snee (Office Manager of Doctors EyeCare Merritt & Princeton) ventures to Jamaica with a clear vision & mission in mind: to provide eye care for individuals who would otherwise never receive it. Along with a team of optometrists and opticians from across Canada, Brian works with the team to provide glasses on this mission project. You can find out more about Canadian Vision Care (CVC) and their global eye care projects on their website at:
  • Doctors Eyecare is a proud sponsor of the local Junior 'A' BCHL Hockey Club. The Merritt Centennials are proudly owned and run as a non-profit organization by a local Board of Directors. The Centennials are proud to be representing Merritt as the longest-standing British Columbia Hockey League team having been here since 1975.

Good Morning Merritt and Princeton!

We hope this finds you safe and in good health!

We are looking forward to returning to begin the rebuilding process. Both towns are close knit and supportive communities and as we pull together, we will see the strength and compassion of friends and neighbours. At both our offices we will be monitoring access to safe water and sewage to determine when we can safely open again. In the mean time, if you need anything, please call or text Brian on his cell at 250-315-2020 or email
